The Institute Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer
The Institute for GOD is pleased to announce the appointment of Ronald A. Granger as Chief Financial Officer.
Granger brings decades of experience in higher education leadership, financial management, and institutional operations. His background includes serving as a college president, vice president for administrative services, and vice president for finance across multiple institutions, along with ongoing teaching in business and economics.
This hire comes at an important time for both the Institute and GOD International. As programs develop, the need for strong and steady financial leadership has become increasingly clear. Granger’s experience aligns directly with that need.
Proven Financial Leadership
Throughout his career, Granger has led large-scale financial operations and guided institutions through complex challenges.
As President of Colorado Northwestern Community College, he oversaw the full operation of a multi-campus institution and led a significant financial turnaround—moving the college from a $900,000 deficit to a $2 million surplus within two years.
In previous roles, he managed budgets as large as $50 million, implemented cost-saving systems, and developed long-term financial plans that balanced sustainability with growth.
His work consistently reflects a clear pattern: bring clarity, establish order, and build a foundation that can support long-term health.
Experience Beyond Finance
Granger’s leadership is not limited to budgeting and operations. His work has consistently involved building programs, securing funding, and strengthening institutional direction.
He has:
Secured and managed multi-million dollar grants for program development and infrastructure
Led strategic planning processes at the institutional level
Worked closely with state and federal leaders on funding and policy
Expanded academic programs and increased student engagement
He has also remained connected to the classroom, currently serving as an adjunct instructor teaching business, economics, and related courses .
That combination—executive leadership and active teaching—brings both strategic perspective and day-to-day awareness of student experience.

The Institute is in a season that requires clarity, structure, and faithful stewardship.
Granger’s background in financial recovery and sustainability, operational oversight across multiple departments, and institutional growth and program expansion positions him to serve both organizations well.
His experience working in smaller and rural college contexts also aligns with the Institute’s size and mission, where leadership must be both strategic and hands-on.
