Important: We do not sponsor F-1 student visas or provide immigration documents for study in the United States. All international students study online from their home country.

If you're new to The Institute, we recommend beginning with our Certificate of Christian Practice. This 10-unit online certificate introduces students to biblical studies while allowing you to experience our teaching, community, and learning platform before committing to a degree program. For most international students, it is the recommended first step before pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.

Degree Programs
All of our degree programs are available online. Students who complete the Certifiate of Christian Practice are able to apply 10 units to their chosen degree:
Associate’s of Biblical Foundations
Bachelor of Ministry and Missions
Bachelor of Biblical Studies
Our online degree programs are designed for students who can complete college-level coursework independently in English.
Students should have:
Reliable internet access
A computer suitable for online learning
Access to required course materials
Sufficient English proficiency for college-level study
Admission Requirements
Along with their application including basic information, an essay, and video, applicants should submit documentation showing completion of secondary or post-secondary education.
If educational records are unavailable, applicants may qualify by completing at least six college-level units. These six units may be completed through The Institute as non-degree coursework and later applied toward a degree program upon admission.
When appropriate, the Admissions Office may request a virtual interview to assess English language proficiency.

To expand access to biblical higher education, we offer reduced tuition to qualifying international online learners from low-income countries.
Students whose country of citizenship is classified by the World Bank as a Low-Income Economy or Lower-Middle-Income Economy are eligible for an International Learner Tuition Scholarship.
The scholarship reduces tuition to 25% of the standard online learner tuition rate. Based on the current online learner rate of $395 per unit, qualifying students will pay $98.75 per unit. (This means $296.25 per 3-unit course).
This scholarship replaces the standard online learner scholarship and may not be combined with other institutional tuition scholarships or discounts unless specifically approved by the College. Students remain responsible for applicable course fees, books, technology costs, and other educational expenses. -
All tuition and fees must be paid in United States dollars (USD). Students are responsible for arranging payment through an approved method and for any currency conversion costs, bank fees, transfer fees, delays, restrictions, or other issues associated with sending funds internationally. We do not facilitate international money transfers or assume responsibility for funds delayed, withheld, rejected, lost, or reduced during the transfer process.
Eligibility is determined at the time of initial enrollment using the World Bank income classification in effect for the applicable academic year. Students must remain in good academic, financial, and disciplinary standing to retain the scholarship. We reserve the right to revise the scholarship amount or eligibility requirements for future academic years.
