Our school mascot is the Phoenix, a mythical bird that represents resurrection power. Our related Phoenix scholarship honors those who have endured tragedy, but have faith that God can do a new thing. We pray that as you share your story, it will inspire many others to rise up as well.
With that in mind, write a 1000-word essay regarding your life trial and how God has grown you through it. (This cannot be the same essay you completed for your Institute application, so if you wrote about a similar topic, this needs to be a different approach.)
Total funds vary according to the number of applicants per year. The maximum award amount for this scholarship is up to $3,000/year. Only full-time, on-campus students may apply.
